DAY 18 (Aaron’s mom)

This weekend was nicely uneventful. Aaron continues to receive blood products (thank-you, donors!) His coloring looks better to me, and he has been walking up and down the hall at least once a day. His sister, Annalyse, stayed over night for the first time and had beginner’s luck: It was a vomit-free night!

We continue to encourage those first stem cells, “Make yourself at Home!”

Returned from a weeklong trip to Missouri with our National Bible Quiz teams; and am blessed and grateful to read the good reports; and continue praying from NY

Maybe we could contact Martha Stewart, and she could create a beautiful living space for these new cells, complete with a home cooked meal and furniture made from marshmallows and flower petals. Its a good thing.. =)

    Hi Boydston’s,
Great to hear the good news of grafting! God is good! I was at a ladies retreat this past weekend. The speakers husband went through something similar to what Aaron is going through. I thought of Aaron alot and prayed for him alot too. He, the husband, is in remission and doing well. He’s a pastor by the way. His cancer was in his neck and mouth and tounge. She shared so many stories of how God worked through that time and they were amazing stories. God is the great physician. He knows what we need and provides what we need. He is in control. Love you guys, Melanie
