May 17th, Happy Anniversary! (by Natalie)
One year ago, God chose us to serve Him in a new way. Aaron was diagnosed with leukemia and we were whisked away from our home to UCLA. God sent us to this different world, this mission field.
Today, we celebrate the goodness of the God we serve. Through this last year, God has demonstrated that He is Almighty, Healer, compassionate, Defender, always near, Creator, incomparable, Provider, Love, joy, life, our Shepherd, Truth, perfect, omniscient, unchangeable and unquestionably faithful. He is unequaled. Let’s Give glory to God for all the marvelous works that we have seen Him do through and for us! We especially thank God for the incredible love and support that we have received from all of you. For us, it truly has been a manifestation of Jesus’ peace that is beyond understanding. We could not have made it without you.
The decorations are down. The room has been cleaned out. Transport has been called. We have been discharged. We are on our way over to the Tiverton!
PRAISE GOD!
In His grace and with so much love,
Aaron and Natalie

Hallelujah! God is proving to us almost daily that He answers prayers. We are humbled by the fact that He hears and loves us so much that he gives us our hearts’ desire! God Bless you all!

Thank God!!! We are so happy to hear that Aaron is doing well again. We will keep up the prayers and Aaron you keep up the fight to stay with all of us. We need you in the egg competition next year. This year we had a sad, sorry bunch of eggs. :) We missed all of you.

Aaron:
We were only on the sidelines. We can’t really know the truth of your momentous battle. But your hard year has taught us important lessons about faith, perseverence, family bonds, and, yes, even science! Who knew that a tiny baby’s cord blood could save a grown, albeit bald-as-a-baby, man? This is your testament, Aaron, and we thank you.

Question: So what happened in your life this over the past year?
Answer: Well, it’s hard to say, but I made it, and it means so much.

To all the Boydston’s,
Your family has always amazed me. I have never met any other families quite like yours. Your faith, love to others, love of God, basic day to day interaction, perseverance, comic relief!, just to mention a few. You have always been the role model of a family to me. God has used all of you in so many ways you don’t even know! And Natalie, such faith! I can only hope that if I am ever in a similar position, that I can be as strong as you have. Thank you Boydston’s for the priviledge to be called a friend of yours. I have learned a lot over the years from your family. I know God has a purpose for all of this. Your example speaks volumes. As always, keeping you all in prayer! Love, Melanie
